The Grateful Dog Mobile Grooming is a haven for dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. We strive to create a positive and happy experience for them. Pet safety is our number one priority and by using The Grateful Dog Mobile Grooming you can be assured your dog is getting the best care possible in our certified professional hands. All dogs are family to us and we can guarantee they'll be treated as if they are our own! Currently, we are accepting appointments in Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad, and Oceanside.
MEET THE OWNER & YOUR GROOMER: LINDSEY
My journey in the pet industry began in 2015 when I volunteered for a local dog rescue, where I met my three-legged Australian Shepherd, Mia. She was a stray in Mexico who they found missing a leg and pregnant with seven pups! After she was brought to the U.S and recovered, I took her home and she's been my inspiration ever since. After adopting her and experiencing the love that our relationship brings me, I knew I'd always want to be involved with dogs. After completing 500 hours of hands-on experience at the San Diego Grooming Academy under the training of certified master groomer Myke Ross, as well as becoming Advanced First Aid and CPR certified, I received my Professional Pet Groomer and Stylist certificate and opened The Grateful Dog Mobile Grooming. With the help of Mia and my latest foster failure, Taco, the business has been able to thrive in the North County coastal region.
WHY MOBILE?
The business operates out of a state of the art 2022 Ford Transit van that has been fully converted to groom as efficiently and safely as possible. One of the perks of using a mobile grooming service is the convenience of it, no more rushing to drop off and pickup your dog or worrying about them being stuck in a kennel waiting for you. We come directly to your door and groom from the comfort of your driveway! Our favorite part about mobile grooming is the ability to have important one-on-one time with your dog. There are no distractions in the van and no other people or dogs that might be frightening for them. We believe building a relationship with each one of our dogs is the most important part of the grooming experience and you can be assured our attention is solely on them.
